Lashing Cages

About TEC Container

Since 1976, the year in which the company was founded, TEC CONTAINER has supplied products to more than 70 different ports in more than 82 countries all over the world. Over 350 new vessels have been originally supplied with the lashing equipment of TEC CONTAINER and over 1500 Spreaders have been delivered to customers in more than 40 different countries, together with a variety of models of Safety Cages, Over-height Frames, Lifting Beams and tailor-made Container Handling Equipment.

Production Process

The whole production process of the Lashing Cages is supported by the ISO 9001 Certificate and our Lashing Cages are delivered with: Test load certificate, Use/maintenance guide, Recommended periodical check-up list, Plate with a unique serial number of construction and traceability of materials and quality certificate of the safety slings and hooks included in the Lashing Cages under spreader

Safety Cages Under Spreader: Fixed Cages: 20 Ft or 40 Ft

 Includes doors for stevedores, sliding doors with an easy access for a forklift to the twistlock bins.

 The containers are fixed to the floor of the cage.

 Optional size 40”

 Electric pack with red/green light indicators for the doors situation (OPEN/CLOSE)

 Rescue pack including an electric outlet (24v), first-aid box and high- visibility torches.

 2 life certified lifelines along the cage, a rubber bumper along the whole external perimeter of the cage and a safety net to prevent falling objects inside the cage.

 Telescopic 20” – 40” and, optionally 45”

 Sturdy and stable construction. Designed for the rough operating conditions.

 Significantly increased occupational safety: the lashers work in an area which is protected all around, also against falling objects.

 The Cage is also an ideal implement for all kinds of problems on container stacks Maintenance personnel can take tools, welding torches etc. with them in the gondola.
