Cooper Specialised Handling Ltd are reporting a high demand for their Mantsinen hydraulic cranes with no less than 8 individual units being ordered over the summer period.
The orders comprise the first Mantsinen 60 since the model was fist launched in 2019 into a log-handling environment as well as Mantsinen 70 on pylon and wheeled undercarriage into a new scrap customer. Included in a wide range of machines supplied from the smallest size 60 includes a Mantsinen 300M – the world’s largest hydraulic crane into mainland UK following supply of a similar sized unit into Belfast also in 2019.
Included in the mix are the first fully mains electric machines model 95ER powered by 690V electric motors on tracks as well as a couple of 120M on wheels and a heavy capacity 200R, also on tracks.
Speaking on behalf of Cooper Specialised Handling, David Cooper, Executive Director stated, “There is no question we are seeing a release of pent-up demand following the pandemic bringing a high order-intake but what is pleasing is it represents a healthy mix of returning customers plus a smattering of new customers too to both Mantsinen and Coopers – just as we like it.” David continued “All the customers concerned were driven not only by the high technology, but they all share a common denominator in being able to work back the capital and energy operational needs into a cost per tonne of material, which assists in driving efficiencies through their respective businesses – only Mantsinen equipment can do this and the actual cost per tonne is unquestionably the lowest on the market”
The new order intake and increase in populations will see further growth in Cooper’s ever-expanding field-engineer portfolio. All machines will be delivered in late 2021 and into 2022.
