Cooper Partners Top Manufacturers to Deliver Better Solutions

Over the past 12 months, following the decision to end Cooper’s distribution agreement to sell new Konecranes equipment, the company has been cementing relationships with some of the world’s top manufacturers. As a result, we are now able to develop an even more comprehensive product/service offer for customers in the ports, manufacturing and rail freight sectors.

As well as reinforcing existing partnerships with Sany, Mantsinen and Maximal, Cooper is investigating further distributor opportunities with specialist equipment producers so as to add value through customised lifting solutions.

The heavy lifting market is changing and Cooper Handling Group is looking to the future. Taking a consultative-led approach to business, which means assessing a customer’s operation and the specific applications involved, enables us to deliver a best-fit solution backed by high standards of technical support.

Cooper is also proud to be one of only a handful of heavy handling equipment specialists in the UK to hold the prestigious ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 quality standards across its entire operation. Many equipment providers choose to rely on the manufacturer’s accreditations, but Cooper’s achievement of these internationally recognised standards is already translating into a tangible competitive advantage.

The company is also investing to strengthen its short-term rental capabilities. This has led to more and more businesses choosing to hire high specification ‘big trucks’ from Cooper to complete specific projects, provide emergency cover or bridge the gap until their new machine arrives.

A more comprehensive equipment offer, backed by high standards of technical support from an in-house team of experienced service engineers, means Cooper can offer a complete package to businesses that demand customised solutions from a company they can trust.

In the UK, Cooper’s factory-trained engineers comprise the most experienced team working on Konecranes products. Furthermore, with in excess of 130 machines on contract, the company is the largest consumer of spare parts and labour hours so customers can rest assured that aftersales support for Konecranes products will continue as usual.
