Cooper Specialised Handling Ltd, the UK’s most established independently owned port equipment specialist has been recognised for an outstanding achievement award at the Sany International Dealer Summit for 2021.
The annual summit, held for the first time virtually, was a global event held at 12.00 GMT in order to capture as much of the waking world as possible which attracted the hundreds of Sany dealers globally involved in excavator and construction industries, mobile crane and concrete pumping industries as well as Cooper’s portfolio – port equipment.
The award was in recognition of exceptional sales performance in a region and brought with it, a trophy and €15000 USD prize.
Discussing the award, David Cooper, Executive Director of Cooper Handling stated, “We are naturally proud to have been firstly nominated but secondly winning the award and on a global stage is truly fantastic”. David added “we have in the past been recognised by SMV and latterly by Konecranes a global recognition award and in more recent times by Mantsinen in 2016. Considering the scale of Sany globally, to be recognised by such a huge business and amongst hundreds of dealers worldwide is very humbling”.
Sany are now recognised as the largest reachstacker manufacturer in the world having first entered the market in 2006. This point is not lost on David Cooper who added “It is important that manufacturer global dominance is replicated in our own domestic market.”
