Cooper Specialised Handling has been appointed the exclusive distributor for Svetruck in the UK and Ireland in a key move which heralds the return of the port and heavy handling equipment specialist to the UK heavy lift truck market.
The new partnership with Swedish manufacturer Svetruck will see Cooper Specialised Handling assume full responsibility for product distribution, service, technical support and spare parts with immediate effect.

Founded in 1977, Svetruck is a highly renowned manufacturer of a range of 10-60-ton fork lift trucks, which incorporates masted empty and laden container handlers from 25-52 tons. The company, based in Ljungby, Sweden, also produces a full range of log stackers, with a capacity of 12-32 tons, which excel in sawmills, paper mills and in pulp industry settings, and is widely regarded as the world’s leading supplier of this type of specialist equipment.
Svetruck is a natural fit for Cooper Specialised Handling’s product portfolio and reintroduces the independent solutions specialist into a sector in which it was dominant for many years. Taking on this new distributorship is a fitting development as 2018 marks the 20th anniversary of the Cooper business.
