Cooper Specialised Handling is pleased to announce the successful supply of a Telestack TS52 radial stockpiling conveyor to MIBAU Stema Shipping, a key player in the European aggregates and shipping sector.
MIBAU Stema Shipping is involved with supply of aggregates from Norwegian quarries for use in asphalt, construction and concrete industries. Producing over 20 million tonnes of aggregate per year, MIBAU Stema delivers across terminals located around the North Sea and Baltic with a fleet of self-discharging vessels ensuring a fast and efficient supply from quarry to customer.
The delivery marks a significant milestone for Cooper, reinforcing their capability to deliver advanced, high-performance bulk material handling solutions to the ports and terminal industry. The TS52 will be deployed at MIBAU Stema ‘s Sheerness port terminals where it will support the efficient stockpiling and transfer of high-volume aggregate materials which seamlessly integrates with the self-discharging vessel whilst in port.
The TS52, part of Telestack’s renowned mobile conveyor range, offers a flexible, cost-effective alternative to fixed infrastructure. Its radial function and high-throughput capacity make it ideal for dynamic port environments where operational flexibility and rapid deployment are critical. The TS52 is a 52-metre radial stacker capable of 2500 tonnes per hour with a 1400mm wide belt and a stacking height of 18m. Despite the speed and productivity of the unit, the TS52 also enables precise control to provide separation into individual storage bays
Chris Barnes, Sales Director of Cooper Specialised Handling, commented: “This is a landmark supply for our business, both in scale and in customer significance. MIBAU Stema is a highly respected name in the industry, known for operational excellence and high-volume throughput.
